I am a photojournalist based in Istanbul. I started my journalism education at Anadolu Communication Vocational High School and continued at the Department of Journalism, Faculty of Communication, Istanbul University. In 2024, I completed my master’s degree in the Istanbul Studies Program at the Faculty of Social Sciences, Istanbul University.
Since 2019, I have been working in documentary-news photography. My work focuses on societal issues such as gender, religious and ethnic identities, social events, migration, and memory. My photographs have been featured in media outlets including Reuters, AP Newsroom, Getty Images, Der Spiegel, Die Welt, Cumhuriyet, BİANET and others.
